Docs version

v0.4.0 identifies this website and its content—not iMatch Portal, Manager, iOS, Android, or backend services.

Re-verified against the shipping product

Every page was re-read against the current build. Two of the site’s loudest claims had become false: Manager’s operator shell is no longer feature-gated, and the iPad Table mode now scores matches.

Changed

  • Manager Table mode scores singles, doubles, and mixed matches point by point and submits one result for certification. The previous boundary — that Start match was disabled and scoring would arrive later — was inverted and has been rewritten across the overview, the workflow, the event-day runbook, the Manager Mobile guide, the pairing tutorial, and the home page.
  • The nine-view Manager operator sidebar is the only shell. Every instruction to confirm a V2 release flag before planning Table mode, pairing, or an event has been removed, and the retired Command Center no longer appears as the default workspace.
  • Publishing a tournament and setting it to Registration open is no longer described as enough to accept entries: the organizer must also open the self-serve registration gate in Settings, or the tournament page shows no Register button.
  • Self-serve registration moved from /r/ to /e/. Printed QR codes on the old path still redirect.
  • A group card’s PTS column is no longer described as always the page’s own arithmetic. It carries the tournament’s published match points when the source publishes them for every row in a group, and the card’s footer says which of the two you are reading.
  • The site now carries one corpus-wide verification stamp again, because this pass re-read every page rather than a part of it.

Added

  • Release notes for the fourteen product builds cut between July 21 and August 23, 2026, including the first entries for iMatch Manager and the first builds distributed through public store listings.
  • Portal coverage for the Live tab, the tournament status block, the Winners list, stage-grouped results, published seed chips, walkover/retirement/disqualification badges, organizer-published tournament documents, a signed-in player’s own tournament home with self-withdrawal, terms-of-entry acceptance, and the searchable tournament index.
  • Manager coverage for in-app account and organization creation, the Next up ribbon, Auto-schedule, schedule move and swap, and full tournament backup and restore.
  • Boundaries for the capabilities that exist in the product but that a reader cannot use today: streaming quotas and passes, free-tier caps, the iMatch Pro purchase path in Portal, staff-only and test-mode consoles, Manager for Android tablets, and creating a pickleball tournament.

Improved

  • Boundaries now record two capability losses rather than quietly dropping them: OTRF export has no route in the current Manager build, and there is no longer a Disputed Scores workspace or an offline conflict-resolution screen. The correction path at certification is documented in their place.
  • The guided tutorials carry current revisions, the Table mode tutorial covers scoring, and the two dead source paths in the registration tutorial’s evidence list were corrected.
  • The tutorial provenance footer reads its commit from the shared verification constant instead of a second hardcoded copy that had drifted.
  • Result outcomes are named as the product names them — Played, Walkover, Retired, and DQ. The guidance had offered a Forfeit control in seven places; no such outcome exists.

Reading a tournament page

The documentation now covers the tournament-results reading surfaces on imatch321.com — bracket trees, group cards, per-game scores, and the boundaries each of them admits to.

Added

  • Follow results & draws: a spectator and participant guide to expanding an event card into its knockout bracket, its round-robin group cards, and any match's individual games.
  • An organizer section on the same page, plus an event-day runbook section on what a certified result now publishes to the room.
  • Feature-status rows for the Portal tournament-results surfaces and for read-only imported tournaments, each carrying its own verification date.

Improved

  • The Portal product guide now says where the draw itself lives: the event cards on Overview, not the Draws tab beside them.
  • The overview routing table now names a spectator path, and the player guide links to the reading guide.

Release history with honest availability

The documentation now separates verified product-build notes from the documentation site’s own version history.

Added

  • A release-notes hub for verified iOS and Android builds, including beta or internal availability on every entry.
  • Shareable release-detail pages with product, build, audience, source-verification, and availability context.
  • A documentation changelog with versioned, reader-facing site updates.

Improved

  • Global navigation, search, footer links, and the sitemap now include release content.
  • The footer’s documentation version now links directly to this changelog.

Initial iMatch documentation site

The first public documentation release connects the tournament workflow across Portal, Manager Desktop, Manager Mobile, and every participant role.

Added

  • End-to-end organizer, player, coach, parent, and table-staff guidance grounded in implemented product behavior.
  • Dual-format guided tutorials with watch and read modes, captions, narration, downloads, knowledge checks, and resumable learning paths.
  • Feature-status and best-practice references that call out gated, limited, or planned behavior.
  • Privacy-minimized tutorial metrics, reader controls, and restricted aggregate insights for documentation owners.

Changed

  • Published on Cloudflare Pages and routed the production documentation domain to the Pages application.
  • Removed owner sign-in from public navigation and adopted the final iMatch SVG branding.
  • Added Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Cookie Policy, copyright, company link, and the visible documentation version.
